Support our mission: evacuation and assistance for disabled refugees

We are urgently raising funds for the medical evacuation of disabled, neurodivergent and chronically ill persons, along with their accompanying family members, from active war zones in Ukraine.

Just in the past two weeks, Sunflower Care e.V. has received over 20 requests for evacuation of  disabled, neurodivergent or chronically ill persons and their caregivers and family members. Nine of these requests require medical transport accompanied by qualified personnel.

‍

We are reaching out to you because we currently lack the financial resources needed to cover all these requests.

‍

Medical transport evacuation is not a privilege; it is the only lifeline for those whose physical condition prevents evacuation by bus or train.

‍

When we receive a request, we strive to tailor the evacuation route, considering all factors: health condition, family composition, current location, and urgency.

‍

One medical transport evacuation costs between 2,000€ and 2,800€, depending on the distance. By contributing, you help cover expenses such as fuel, food, wages for medical staff and drivers, accommodation for the team, the evacuee, and their companion.
